| "Matt Drudge wipes his Twitter account clean of all posts - except one warning" Posted: 19 May 2014 10:45 AM PDT Although I wouldn't call it a "warning" I wholeheartedly agree:
|
| Newsweek: "Conspiracy Theories A Danger to America Posted: 19 May 2014 09:39 AM PDT They are very concerned. Even interviewing Mark Potak and Cass Susstein, those experts who are experts on these nefarious theories. http://www.newsweek.com/2014/05/23/plots-destroy-america-251... Very disturbing article, but not for the reasons they think. |
| Salon: Libertarians don't know history or reality Posted: 19 May 2014 07:09 AM PDT It has long been customary to divide the Republican Party into three "camps": big business or "Wall Street" Republicans, the religious right and neoconservatives or "national security" Republicans. The third group, it must be admitted, somewhat unsteadily combines neoconservatives proper (such as William Kristol) with old-fashioned defense hawks (such as Donald Rumsfeld), but perhaps this is the Republican "big tent" we keep hearing about. |
| Arkansas, Georgia, Idaho, Kentucky, Oregon, Pennsylvania Primaries Tuesday May 20, 2014 Posted: 19 May 2014 06:23 AM PDT I wish Liberty well, and hope that those who are involved have fully vetted their candidates and have precinct workers in place :-) Please reference: http://www.dailypaul.com/287246/2014-liberty-candidate-thread |
| Shadowstats:The future is here today. "We are on the brink of disaster" Posted: 19 May 2014 04:54 AM PDT Dollar on the Brink of Disaster-John Williams Economist John Williams has a dire prediction for the U.S. dollar. Williams says, "I don't see what will save it at this point. . . . Now we are to the point that the dollar has been ignored for years. The federal deficit has been ignored for years. . . . That's what we are on the brink of disaster with, and that is what has to be addressed now, and that's not happening." |

| Are feds trying to run down clock on Kentucky hemp seeds? Posted: 18 May 2014 07:47 PM PDT "The law-enforcement arm of the federal government contends that importing hemp seeds continues to be subject to the Controlled Substances Import and Export Act." http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2014/05/16/hemp-... |
| WalMart on downhill spiral to crash Posted: 18 May 2014 06:25 PM PDT Motley Fool: U.S. shoppers are abandoning Wal-Mart The most alarming statistic at home in the U.S. comes from falling same-store sales. This measures how sales are growing location by location and any healthy retailer is looking to grow same-store sales at or faster than consumer spending grows because that shows increased market share locally. Overall sales can be increased by increasing store count, but if same-store sales are falling then the return on each store will drop, something well see in a minute. Is Wal-Mart in serious trouble? |

| Rand Paul To Grab Spotlight Again With Another Filibuster On Drones Posted: 18 May 2014 05:11 PM PDT Massimo Calabresi @calabresim May 16, 2014 The Republican senator will aim to draw attention to President Obama's drone policy during debate over the nomination of a former Justice Department official to the federal bench, following up his 13-hour filibuster in 2013 to try to block John Brennan from going to the CIA Rand Paul returns to the national stage next week to reprise his most famous performance, filibustering a presidential nominee in a fight over the extrajudicial killing of American terrorists. |
