| Woman Sentenced to Prison for Son’s School Absence Dies in Jail Cell Posted: 12 Jun 2014 09:45 AM PDT Woman sentenced to 2 days in jail because she couldn't afford her truancy fines dies in jail; judge says it was his only option. http://dumbsheeple.com/post/88568332531/woman-sentenced-to-p... |
| Peter King is worried about Cantor’s loss, apparently nobody told him Cruz and Paul are senators Posted: 12 Jun 2014 08:55 AM PDT Rep. Peter King on Wednesday said the Republican Party cannot allow Ted Cruz and Rand Paul to take over following House Majority Leader Eric Cantor's defeat. "We can't allow Eric's defeat last night allow the Ted Cruzes and the Rand Pauls to take over the party, or their disciples to take over the party," the moderate New York Republican said on MSNBC. "Because this is not conservatism to me. Shutting down the government is not being conservative." |
| Posted: 12 Jun 2014 08:36 AM PDT (Or: No, Shooting Cops Is NOT Consistent with Liberty) There is a problem festering within the liberty movement. This problem is one that I've sensed for some time, but has become much more clear to me due to some recent, tragic events. Last week, a young couple named Jerad and Amanda Miller murdered two police officers in Las Vegas, as well as another man who later tried to stop their rampage. The two reportedly shouted "This is the start of a revolution!" before opening fire. The majority of people who heard about this event were shocked and appalled, as any rational minded person with a soul would be. There were some, however, who had a different take on the event. "The good news is, two cops are dead", lamented anarchist asshole (his words, not mine) Christopher Cantwell. You see, Cantwell feels that since police are enforcers of the law, and since in our society, the vast majority of laws are rights-infringing (or "aggression", as Cantwell simplistically refers to it), that therefore any violence inflicted upon a police officer by a citizen is justified as "self-defense." In order to not be accused of mischaracterizing Cantwell's position, I will allow him to explain it in his own words. (The words are his, the emphasis is mine.) |
| After Primary Upset, GOP Fears Infighting Will Take a Toll Posted: 12 Jun 2014 08:09 AM PDT By Jonathan Martin | June 11, 2014 WASHINGTON — The sudden and decisive fall of the House majority leader, Eric Cantor of Virginia, at the hands of a conservative primary opponent tore open divisions among Republicans on Wednesday, setting off a new wave of fear that the internecine feuding would stymie policy-making and imperil Republican presidential prospects in 2016. Mr. Cantor's 11-point loss to David Brat, an economics professor, occurred just when party leaders were beginning to believe they had finally extinguished the Tea Party-versus-establishment civil war, and offered a stark reminder that anger among conservative activists is still boiling. The upset, unrivaled in the history of congressional primaries, will immediately push Republicans to the right, almost certainly end any prospect for an immigration overhaul this year, and empower hard-liners like Senator Ted Cruz of Texas, who believe the Republican Party has not kept faith with a vocal base that demands unflinching opposition to President Obama. |
| What happened to the Campaign for Liberty? Posted: 12 Jun 2014 06:37 AM PDT Back in the day the campaign for liberty site was on the top of my website "routine." Its been many years now since I have visited the site due to the decline in quality/relevance. |

| The best thing about the original jam session Posted: 11 Jun 2014 08:17 PM PDT The best thing about the original jam session (which by the way now is closed) is that everyone voluntarily checked their weapons at the door. They came in to chill, and share. That was the best part. It was healing and transformative, not the usual fighting with each other like dogs, and pushing agendas of various factions. The bright spot about it is that it was fun. We need more fun around here. Otherwise it feels like walking in here to DP world and getting clobbered in every direction from bad news. |
| Two Men Use Girl As Human Shield — Until Her Father Guns Them Down Posted: 11 Jun 2014 08:04 PM PDT Two Men Use Girl As Human Shield — Until Her Father Guns Them Down Chuck Ross, Reporter A St. Louis couple is likely thankful to have guns in their home after they were forced to use them to defend their daughter against two men Monday night. The men, one of whom had an extensive rap sheet, confronted the couples' 17-year-old daughter after she stepped outside of the house to go to her car, reports the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. |
| Gunman was leftist that worked on Obama campaign and participated in left wing website... Posted: 11 Jun 2014 07:03 PM PDT Not liberty lovers, or Ron Paul supporters, and CNN will once again have to eat crow when this goes public on the right wing media. These people were not lovers of Liberty, but more likely far leftists trying to damage the liberty movement, and here is evidence of his participation on a far left website, his postings, and admittance of his association with the left wing and campaigning for Obama. OOOOOOOOOPS! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sCYJcodNY-Q |
| Paul Craig Roberts doubles down on imminent nuclear warfare talk w/ (against) China Posted: 11 Jun 2014 06:43 PM PDT China Threatens To Wipe Out The U.S. Far from cooling down from talk of imminent global thermo-nuclear warfare Paul Craig Roberts is now doubling down on it. He claims the situation is getting extremely precarious, and American mainstream media is intentionally distracting its public about escalating dangers behind the scenes.
