In response to radical and sudden shifts in Spain's monarchy, President Obama today announced the deployment of "military support, observation and assistance" to Spain. Spain's King Carlos has suddenly abdicated his throne to his son, formerly Crown Prince Felipe of Spain, currently His Royal Majesty Felipe of Spain.

The old king is a crusty fart who hangs out alone.

#2. Man Donates Money, Gets Thrown in a Mental Hospital

Richard Wright became a local folk hero after he gave out silver coins and CA $50 and $100 bills to dozens of strangers in Nova Scotia. But after driving back home one night in March, police stopped him for a "wellness check." Against his will, Wright was then taken to a mental hospital. Oddly enough, police had pulled over Wright two days before for his "suspicious" generosity, but let him go.

A Nation Ruled By Man?

I've been listening to myself say this quote for almost a year and a half now (recorded in my radio show break):

"Of liberty I would say that, in the whole plenitude of its extent, it is unobstructed action according to our will. But rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law,' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the right of an individual." Thomas Jefferson to Isaac H. Tiffany, 1819.

Sorry for all the Global Warming

Posted: 01 Jun 2014 06:45 PM PDT

I'm watching the new 'Cosmos' on global warming right now and frankly I'm freaking out. I'm frankly freaking you might say. The spaceman host guy said they know for sure that the earth is warming up and it's man's fault. And since I am clearly the ultimate result of 4000 years of human evolution, this is on me and me alone.

So sorry again for all the global warming I promise I'll try to stop.
