In another example of why Bitcoin is probably best for online transactions, the mercurial Paypal has shut down ProtonMail's account, freezing $270,000 in limbo until "questions" are "answered" regarding the cash. Paypal is quite good at shutting down popular funding efforts including, most notably, Wikileak's donation provider a few years ago.

I was out enjoying my newly restored 2nd Amendment this weekend with several B0eing co-workers. I got to the gravel pit on the Swinomish Indian Res a bit late, because I had difficulty finding it. A coworker of mine owns it, or something, and had us sign a waiver form in order to shoot. I was having a great time, but it was time to go.

We are less than 10 minutes away from what is suppose to be the release of Glenn Greenwald's latest expose on the NSA. He has promised to name names of actual individual human targets of the NSA. The implication has been clear that these 'targets' are clearly not your run-of-the-mill 'terrorists.' It is expected that these individuals will include critics of the NSA and non-establishment friendly activists.

Minutes ago, Glenn tweeted the following, "After 3 months working on our story, USG today suddenly began making new last-minute claims which we intend to investigate before publishing"

Factions on the Daily Paul

There are factions on the Daily Paul. I would be thankful for your input, as field scientists here, to help me to identify them. I know that there are many here it would be fun to try to enumerate all the different factions on the Daily Paul.

Most vocal of late are:

- Anarchists
- Minarchists

- The Mages. These include readers of The Secret, followers of Wayne Dyer and Deepak Chopra, believers in crop circles, chemtrails, UFOs, Bill Hicks, Bill Cooper, The Zero Point Field and other ideas of magic.

- GOP soldiers. (The "take over the Republican Party" types.)

- 911 Truthers remains a popular faction.

- Gary Johnson for president is a faction that had its day, and now is in eclipse. Hopefully that one won't be coming back any time soon. Hopefully we won't have any candidate megaphoning going on, or at least if it does, that it is balanced.
