Powerful video of an Israeli boy offering an Apology, and Comfort to Gazans under Siege

This video of a young Israeli man restores my faith in humanity, just a little. He pours out his heart about the suffering of Gazans, apologizes for the actions of Israel, and offers what little comfort he can. We need more people in the world like this, wise enough to feel empathy for "the other."

Fed will keep interest rates near zero for "considerable period"

BY MARTIN CRUTSINGER

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Despite recent sizable job gains, Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen is signaling that her agency is in no rush to withdraw the massive support it is providing the U.S. economy.

Extra caution is warranted, she said Tuesday, given a number of "false dawns" in this recovery when a hoped-for acceleration in growth has failed to materialize.

Why are people on here so conspicuously Anti-Luxembourg?

Posted: 15 Jul 2014 08:23 PM PDT

I don't get it, folks. This is really disappointing.

This complete disdain, and conspicuous, astounding ignoring

- we can only hear the crickets, for La Moselle's sake! -

of this otherwise critically geo-politically important little country :

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luxembourg

is just... mind-boggling in this 21st century.

NOT A SINGLE post in 6 years about the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg!

SIX freaking years with... Que Dalle! Nada! Zip! Nothing about it!

Are you Luxembourging-kidding me?

Pat Buchanan Warns America Could Break Up: No Longer 1 Nation, 1 People

Balkanization Beckons
By Patrick J. Buchanan

Speaking to the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in Albuquerque in 2001, George W. Bush declared that, as Mexico was a friend and neighbor, "It's so important for us to tear down our barriers and walls that might separate Mexico from the United States."

Bush succeeded. And during his tenure, millions from Mexico exploited his magnanimity to violate our laws, trample upon our sovereignty, walk into our country, and remain here.

In 2007, backed by John McCain, Hillary Clinton, Teddy Kennedy and Barack Obama, Bush backed amnesty for the 12 million people who had entered America illegally.

The nation thundered no. And Congress sustained the nation.

The latest mass border crossing by scores of thousands of tots, teenagers and toughs from Central America has killed amnesty in 2014, and probably for the duration of the Obama presidency.

A Governor that Upholds the Constitution?

Posted: 15 Jul 2014 05:45 PM PDT

As some of you may have heard, ADRIAN WYLLIE is the Libertarian Candidate for GOVERNOR in FLORIDA. He is working hard to unseat the current Governor, the criminal Republican Rick Scott (seriously, the man was indicted on Medicaid fraud but took the 5th along with a bonus for leaving his position, he remains criminal to this day), and to prevent the criminal former Republican Governor, turned Independent, now turned Democrat and wanting his old job back, Charlie Crist (although not yet indicted, one of the men indicted took a plea deal, but there is lots more dirt floating around to settle).
